  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until no longer pink (7-10 minutes), seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in the diced bell peppers and minced garlic; cook for another 3-4 minutes until the peppers soften slightly.
  4. Sprinkle spices over the mixture and stir well, allowing the aromas to meld together.
  5. Fold in fresh herbs before serving hot over rice, in wraps, or stuffed in peppers.
