Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by chopping the onion and bell peppers, and mincing the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the onions and bell peppers until they soften (about 5 minutes).
  3. Increase heat slightly, then add ground beef. Cook until browned evenly (6-8 minutes), breaking it apart with a spatula.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and spices; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Add tomato sauce and mix well. Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes to meld flavors.
