- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually sift in the flour, baking soda, and salt; mix until just combined to avoid overmixing.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown on top but soft in the center.
- Allow to cool before slicing into squares.
