- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked chicken or seasonal veggies (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and reserve some pasta water.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer; gradually add the Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Toss the drained pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
- Season with salt and pepper; mix in protein or veggies if using. Serve hot with extra cheese on top.
