Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just blended.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, leaving space between each scoop.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Allow cooling on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
