Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh cremini or button mushrooms
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms under cold water and pat them dry. Slice into thick pieces.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and stir well to coat with garlic. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and tender.
- Season with salt and pepper, stirring gently to distribute evenly.
- Just before serving, sprinkle chopped fresh herbs over the mushrooms and cook for another minute.
