Ingredients
- 2 lbs round steak
- 2 medium sweet onions, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups carrots and potatoes, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Start by chopping the onions and mincing the garlic.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the round steak on both sides until browned.
- Place the seared steak in the crock pot along with onions and garlic.
- Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add thyme, bay leaves, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until tender.
