- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced Cajun sausage and sauté for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Add chopped onion and bell peppers; cook until softened.
- Stir in minced garlic and Cajun seasoning, cooking for about one minute until fragrant.
- Incorporate uncooked rice and chicken broth; stir well to combine.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, cover the skillet, and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Fluff the rice with a fork, garnish with sliced green onions, and serve hot.
