Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Chop the onion, mince the garlic, and slice the mushrooms.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned (5-7 minutes).
- Add onions and mushrooms; sauté until softened (3-5 minutes).
- Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and a splash of broth; cook for another minute.
- Pour in remaining broth; bring to a simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until well combined. Serve over egg noodles or rice.
