Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually incorporate this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth; drizzle over cooled cookies.
