  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of salted water, cook rigatoni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with Cajun seasoning and sear until browned (4-5 minutes per side). Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and simmer gently.
  4. Gradually mix in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined with the sauce.
  5. Slice steak and combine with rigatoni in the skillet. Pour sauce over and toss well to coat.
  6. Plate with chopped green onions on top and serve hot.
