- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- In a large pot of salted water, cook rigatoni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with Cajun seasoning and sear until browned (4-5 minutes per side). Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and simmer gently.
- Gradually mix in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined with the sauce.
- Slice steak and combine with rigatoni in the skillet. Pour sauce over and toss well to coat.
- Plate with chopped green onions on top and serve hot.
