Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheese blend (mozzarella and parmesan)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (about 2–3 minutes).
- Stir in heavy cream, half of the cheese blend, lemon juice, parsley, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Toss cooked pasta into the skillet with the shrimp mixture until coated.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese and parsley.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
