Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking sheets by greasing or lining them with parchment paper.

- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg until fully incorporated.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Fold in the raisins gently until evenly distributed in the dough.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown but centers remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool briefly on the baking sheet before transferring to wire racks.
