- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cook egg noodles in boiling water until al dente (7-8 minutes), then drain.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced chicken until golden brown and fully cooked (6-8 minutes).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked noodles, sautéed chicken, cream of chicken soup, mixed vegetables, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in half of the grated cheddar cheese before pouring the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
