Ingredients
- 2 inches fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 2 whole cinnamon sticks
- 2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 cups filtered water
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of filtered water in a pot over high heat.
- Once boiling, add sliced ginger and cinnamon sticks; reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat; stir in honey until dissolved.
- Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and stir well before serving.
