  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 can (12 oz) canned tuna, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion in butter until translucent (about 4-5 minutes).
  4. In a large bowl, mix cooked noodles, drained tuna, sautéed onions, cream of mushroom soup, frozen peas, and half of the cheddar cheese until well blended.
  5. Transfer to the greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
