- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 can (12 oz) canned tuna, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion in butter until translucent (about 4-5 minutes).
- In a large bowl, mix cooked noodles, drained tuna, sautéed onions, cream of mushroom soup, frozen peas, and half of the cheddar cheese until well blended.
- Transfer to the greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
