Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk and cooked rice. Stir occasionally until heated through.
- Add sugar and the cinnamon stick; simmer gently to meld flavors for about 20–25 minutes.
- Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and butter until melted.
- Serve warm or refrigerate to enjoy chilled. Top with raisins or nuts if desired.
