- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 1 lb fresh gnocchi
- 1 cup freshly grated Asiago cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups fresh spinach (optional)
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by chopping garlic and cutting chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and fully cooked (about 6-8 minutes).
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and let simmer gently while stirring in grated Asiago cheese until melted.
- Gently fold in gnocchi and cook until warmed through (2-3 minutes). If using spinach, add it now and cook until wilted.
- Serve hot with additional cheese on top.
