- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 cups broccoli florets (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper until browned. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently while stirring in grated Parmesan until smooth, about 5 minutes.
- If using, fold steamed broccoli into the sauce along with cooked pasta until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, top with shredded mozzarella cheese, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
