- 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes).
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir in grated parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Drain the pasta (reserve some water) and toss it in the skillet with the sauce. Adjust consistency with reserved water if necessary.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
