- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot. Add fettuccine and cook until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Create the Sauce: Pour in heavy cream while stirring. Simmer gently, then mix in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Combine: Add drained pasta to the sauce and stir well, using reserved pasta water if needed to achieve desired creaminess.
- Season & Serve: Season with salt and pepper, then stir in chopped parsley before serving.
