  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into strips similar in size to your fingers.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; one with beaten eggs; and one with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  5. Arrange chicken tenders in a single layer and spray the tops lightly again.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
