- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts into strips similar in size to your fingers.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; one with beaten eggs; and one with panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange chicken tenders in a single layer and spray the tops lightly again.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
