- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup cooking oil (canola or vegetable)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In one bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the eggs until frothy.
- Slice the chicken into strips and coat each piece in the flour mixture, dip in beaten eggs, then roll in panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken strips for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Serve warm with your favorite dips.
