- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 6 oz crab meat (fresh or canned)
- 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying (enough for about 2 inches in the pan)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix until smooth.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold into triangles; seal tightly.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- Fry filled wontons in batches for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown; flip halfway through.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm with dipping sauces.
