- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
- Dip each chicken breast in olive oil, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange coated chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Optionally, add more Parmesan on top during the last five minutes of baking.
