Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (lean)
- 1 cup provolone cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup yellow onions (diced)
- 1 cup green bell peppers (diced)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onions and green bell peppers; sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste; simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and fold in shredded provolone cheese until melted. Allow to cool slightly.
- Place a spoonful of filling on an egg roll wrapper, fold tightly, tucking in the sides.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F. Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
- Drain on paper towels before serving hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
