Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup dumpling wrappers
- 1/2 lb ground pork (or chicken/tofu)
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup cabbage, finely chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground pork, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cabbage until well combined.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold in half to form a semi-circle and pinch to seal.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add oil and arrange dumplings in a single layer. Sauté until golden brown (3-4 minutes).
- Pour enough water to cover the bottom of the skillet (about 1/4 cup). Cover with a lid and steam for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving with additional soy sauce or garnished with green onions.
