  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.75 oz) can of high-quality salmon, drained
  • 1 cup plain or seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or olive oil)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the drained salmon, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, eggs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until well combined.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper according to your taste. Optional: add garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor.
  3. Form the mixture into patties about 3 inches wide and place them on parchment paper.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties without overcrowding the pan.
  5. Fry each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Transfer cooked patties to paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve warm with lemon wedges or your favorite dipping sauce.
