- 1 (14.75 oz) can of high-quality salmon, drained
- 1 cup plain or seasoned breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying (vegetable or olive oil)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the drained salmon, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, eggs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper according to your taste. Optional: add garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor.
- Form the mixture into patties about 3 inches wide and place them on parchment paper.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties without overcrowding the pan.
- Fry each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer cooked patties to paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve warm with lemon wedges or your favorite dipping sauce.
