Instructions
- Slice onions into half-inch thick rings and soak in cold water for 30 minutes.
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
- Beat eggs in a separate bowl until frothy.
- Dip each onion ring in the flour mixture, then egg wash, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep skillet. Fry onion rings in batches for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
