- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1–2 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts.
- Set up a breading station with flour seasoned with salt and pepper in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and panko breadcrumbs in a third.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer browned chicken to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
