Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Stir in honey (or maple syrup), nut butter, and cinnamon until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine oats and baking powder.
- Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- If desired, fold in chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before slicing into bars.
