- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well combined.
- Gradually add the milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients while mixing gently. Incorporate eggs one at a time until the batter is smooth but slightly lumpy.
- Fold in the creamed corn carefully using a spatula.
- Spread the batter evenly into your prepared baking dish or skillet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
