- 4 slices whole grain bread
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine drained tuna, halal mayo, chopped celery, and red onion until well blended.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste; add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra flavor.
- Spread the tuna mixture generously on two slices of whole grain bread.
- Top each with romaine lettuce leaves and close with remaining bread slices.
- Slice sandwiches diagonally and serve immediately or pack for later.
