  • 14 oz canned crushed tomatoes

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, zucchini, spinach) (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat with a splash of olive oil. Add chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
  2. Push onions to the side and add ground beef. Cook until browned and crumbled evenly.

  4. Meanwhile, boil water in another pot; cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce mixture in the skillet. Toss well, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
