Ingredients
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 2–3 cloves of fresh garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (mixed with water)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Marinate the chicken in half of this mixture for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil. Cook the marinated chicken until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes).
- Whisk the remaining marinade with cornstarch and water; pour over the cooked chicken.
- Simmer for about three minutes until the sauce thickens, stirring frequently.
- Serve garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
