- 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water, trimming off tough ends and cutting them in half.
- In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the seasoned sprouts and mix gently.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and tender.
- For added sweetness, drizzle maple syrup during the last five minutes of roasting.
