Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add milk until just mixed.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface, gently knead a few times, then pat to about 1-inch thickness and cut into biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- For the gravy: Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Remove excess fat and stir in flour to create a roux; gradually whisk in milk until thickened.
- Serve hot biscuits topped with the creamy sausage gravy.
