Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 2 limes (juiced)
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
- 1/4 cup red onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup salsa (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
- In a bowl, combine garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Toss shrimp in this mixture until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
- Warm tortillas in a separate pan or wrap in foil and bake until soft.
- Assemble tacos by placing shrimp on each tortilla, then topping with cilantro, red onion, and a squeeze of lime juice.
- Serve with salsa on the side.
