Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 limes (juiced)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup red onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup salsa (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
  2. In a bowl, combine garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Toss shrimp in this mixture until evenly coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Warm tortillas in a separate pan or wrap in foil and bake until soft.
  5. Assemble tacos by placing shrimp on each tortilla, then topping with cilantro, red onion, and a squeeze of lime juice.
  6. Serve with salsa on the side.
