- 4 nori sheets
- 4 oz sushi-grade fish (tuna or salmon)
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- Soy sauce for dipping
- Wasabi paste
Instructions
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until clear; cook according to package instructions and let it cool slightly.
- Slice fish, avocado, and cucumber into thin strips.
- Place a bamboo mat on a flat surface and lay one nori sheet shiny side down.
- Spread an even layer of rice over two-thirds of the nori sheet.
- Add your chosen fillings along the center of the rice.
- Carefully roll the nori away from you using the bamboo mat while applying gentle pressure.
- Seal the edge with water and slice into bite-sized pieces.
