- 1 can (5 oz) high-quality tuna packed in water, drained
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise (full-fat or light)
- 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup pickles, diced (sweet or dill)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna with mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Stir until creamy.
- Add the chopped celery and red onion to the bowl, mixing well.
- Fold in diced pickles along with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Adjust seasoning as desired.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled on greens, in sandwiches, or with crackers.
