- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup pure honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- Garlic powder and cayenne pepper (for seasoning)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the chicken into strips or bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
- Set up three bowls: one with seasoned flour, one with whisked egg and water, and the last with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder.
- Dip each piece of chicken in flour, then egg wash, and finally coat it with panko breadcrumbs.
- Arrange on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, combine honey and soy sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened; drizzle over baked chicken before serving.
