- 1 lb pizza dough
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 ½ cups fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small zucchini, thinly sliced
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Balsamic glaze (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch round and transfer it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about an inch around the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the sauce.
- Arrange bell peppers, zucchini, red onion, mushrooms, and spinach atop the cheese.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the vegetables.
- Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze on top after baking if desired. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
