Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cooked rice, milk, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until blended and heated through.
- Add vanilla extract and butter; stir until the butter melts completely into the mixture.
- Simmer gently for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or spice as desired.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving warm or refrigerating for later enjoyment.
- Top with fresh fruit, nuts, or whipped cream if desired.
