- 1 lb spaghetti
- 24 oz marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- If using, brown ground beef or sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain fat and mix in marinara sauce.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, and spices until smooth.
- In a baking dish, layer half the spaghetti, half the meat sauce (if using), then half the cheesy mixture. Repeat layers.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
