- 1/2 cup pure honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them; ensure each piece is well coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and is caramelized.
- Allow the chicken to rest for about five minutes before serving.
