- 12 ounces ziti pasta
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Garlic powder
- Dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish.
- Cook ziti in salted boiling water until al dente; drain.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain excess fat.
- Mix marinara sauce, garlic powder, and oregano into the browned meat; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Layer half of the cooked ziti in the baking dish, followed by half of the meat sauce and dollops of half of the ricotta cheese. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
- Top with mozzarella cheese and cover with foil. Bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden.
