- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Olive oil for cooking
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms; cook until softened.
- Increase heat to medium-high; add the thinly sliced beef and brown on all sides.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; stir well and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Lower heat, remove from direct flame, and mix in sour cream until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving over cooked egg noodles or rice.
