Ingredients
- 12 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
- 2–3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (about 3-4 minutes).
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously, then add Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Combine cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley or extra cheese if desired.
