- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup salsa (mild or spicy)
- 8 soft corn or flour tortillas
- Fresh toppings: chopped cilantro, diced onions, avocado slices, lime wedges
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle taco seasoning generously over the chicken and pour salsa on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the chicken shreds easily.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it back into the pot.
- Warm tortillas in a skillet over medium heat.
- Assemble tacos by loading tortillas with shredded chicken and desired toppings.
