Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Active Dry Yeast
  • Cinnamon Powder
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Milk
  • Eggs
  • Brown Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Coconut Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Warm ½ cup milk until lukewarm, sprinkle active dry yeast over it, and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture, then gradually mix in dry ingredients. Knead gently for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  5. Roll out dough into rectangles, spread softened butter on top, and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mix.
  6. Fold each rectangle into thirds, cut into strips, twist them, and place upright in greased muffin tins.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
